It seems that Apple will soon come up with a new update. A number of software problems are solved in iOS 18.3.2. But what else?
iOS 18.3.2 is coming (and solves important software problems)
We can be quite short about it. IOS 18.3.2 mainly contains important problem solutions and safety updates. We do not (yet) know what that is exactly, but in the release notes you can already read that everyone has to install this update. It seems that there are no functions with this update.
It is also not yet known when this update will appear. But that will probably not last too long. The rumors say that this will be somewhere in the coming week.
iOS 18.4 on the way
According to rumors, the next major update (iOS 18.4) comes out somewhere in the first or second week of April. So intermediate updates can not take a long time anyway.
This update also means that Apple Intelligence is coming to more countries. You can probably also use Apple Intelligence here, but then you have to set the iPhone to English. You also need an iPhone that has support for Apple’s AI, those are:
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 16
- iPhone 16 Plus
- iPhone 16 Pro
- iPhone 16 Pro Max
In addition to Apple Intelligence, the update to iOS 18.4 does get new functions. For example, new emoji are coming and the app photos have received new buttons. There is an extra menu in wallet and the password app will get a new function.
In iOS 18.4 you also have some more freedom in setting up standard applications. It is possible to choose other apps that are used as standard for translating and navigating. Now that is still Apple’s own translation and card app, but that changes with iOS 18.4.
