It is still unclear whether the new version of ChatGPT will be immediately available in iOS 18.
The new AI features for iOS and iPadOS reportedly work mainly on the iPhone and iPad themselves. They are partly controlled by Apple data centers, but mainly by the processor of the device itself. This means that the AI ​​functions work very quickly and your privacy is guaranteed. We do not yet know how ChatGPT will be integrated into iOS 18, but it may serve as a replacement for Siri. There is a good chance that not all AI functions will be available when iOS 18 is presented at WWDC. Apple will reveal the new features, but they will only be available to developers in a later test version.
