The iPad 2025 has been announced! Apple unveiled the eleventh generation of the iPad on Tuesday 4 March 2025. Lower prices
For the announcement of the iPad 2025, it was expected that the device would take over the starting prices of the iPad 2022. That is not the case, because the iPad 2025 is cheaper than its predecessor. Where you paid 579 euros at Apple for the iPad 2022 with 256 GB, that is only 539 euros with the same amount of storage space with the iPad 2025. These are all the official starting prices of the iPad 2025 at Apple:
- iPad 2025 128 GB: 409 euros;
- iPad 2025 256 GB: 539 euros;
- iPad 2025 512 GB: 789 euros.
The iPad 2025 comes standard with 128 GB of storage space, while with the iPad 2022 64 GB. That is not reflected in the prices, so that you get twice as much storage space for the same money at the iPad 2025. The tablet is available for the first time this year with 512 GB storage, this option was previously exclusive for the iPad Air, iPad Pro and the iPad Mini. Release of the iPad 2025
Apple has also made few changes with the iPad 2025. The tablet has again a USB-C port, 11-inch Liquid Retina display and is secured with Touch ID. The iPad 2025 works with the first generation of the Apple Pencil and with the Apple Pencil with USB-C. The A16 Bionic chip has no support for Apple Intelligence, so the iPad will not be expanded later with these functions.
Apple announced the iPad 2025 on Tuesday 4 March. The presale of the tablet has started, but the iPad is not yet available in stores.
