Do you want to buy an iPad Pro 2025 and are you unsure between the 11-inch and 13-inch version? No problem! We help you choose!
iPad Pro 2025: which format you should (not) choose
The iPad Pro 2025 is the best Apple tablet you can buy. But it comes in two variants. Both versions are technically almost the same except for a few minor differences. We list the most important differences and then give you more detailed advice with advantages and disadvantages for each version of the iPad Pro 2025.

iPad Pro 2025 11 inches vs 13 inches: the most important differences
The iPad Pro 13 has a larger screen and is also a bit heavier (444 grams vs. 579 grams). The battery is also slightly larger in the 13-inch version, but Apple says both tablets will give you around 10 hours of battery life. However, in practice you often get a little more screen time with the 13 inch.
iPad 2025 11 inches: the pros and cons
The 11-inch iPad Pro is the ‘portable’ version of the iPad. You’re more likely to grab it when you’re relaxing on the couch, on the train or want to read a book during your vacation.
Positives
- Truly portable: it is compact and light (around 444 grams), it fits more easily in a bag and is easier to hold;
- More relaxed for on the road: sending an email, watching YouTube, browsing, playing games all works fine;
- Typically cheaper: you get the same Pro experience, but at a better price than the 13-inch.

Negatives
- Less ‘work space’: two apps next to each other is fine, but the screen feels cramped more quickly if you want to use multiple apps at the same time;
- Drawing and editing photos/videos: If you like to draw (with the Apple Pencil) or edit photos and videos, the larger screen of the 13 inch is better.
iPad 2025 13 inches: the pros and cons
The 13-inch is basically a laptop replacement. Even if you want to use the iPad Pro 2025 to draw, edit photos or edit videos, the larger screen is really nicer.
Positives
- Lovely big screen: more overview, larger text, and you can store much more;
- Best choice for creatives: drawing, taking notes, editing photos and videos is easier on a larger screen;
- Keyboard feels logical: With a keyboard (cover), this iPad Pro 2025 feels like a laptop replacement.
Negatives
- More expensive: the larger iPad has a higher price than its smaller brother;
- Heavier and bigger: Due to its size, you are less likely to grab this iPad. You should also take into account that it is a bit less easy to put in your bag.
