iPhone 15 (Pro) can be ordered from tomorrow
Are you planning to buy the new iPhone? Then you don’t have to wait much longer, because the pre-order of the iPhone 15 starts tomorrow Friday, September 15, 2 p.m you can order the new iPhone. The official release of the iPhone 15 is a week later, on Friday September 22 the phone will then appear in stores. If you have already ordered the device, that is also the day it will be delivered to your home.
The stock of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is probably limited due to problems in the production process in recent months. It is therefore quite possible that the phone will sell out quickly and delivery times will increase quickly. The other iPhones will probably also soon have to deal with long delivery times. Therefore, prepare yourself well with these tips!
1. How much do you want to pay? These are the prices of the iPhone 15
It is wise to consider in advance which version of the iPhone 15 you want to buy. Four iPhones have been announced again this year: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. All devices come with 128 GB of storage space as standard, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max this is 256 GB. And there’s good news, because Apple has even lowered the prices of the new iPhones this year! These are the new prices:
- iPhone 15: 969 euros (128GB)
- iPhone 15 Plus: 1119 euros (128GB)
- iPhone 15 Pro: 1229 euros (128GB)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 1479 euros (256GB)
2. Determine how much storage space you need
So you get at least 128 GB of storage space with all iPhones, which is probably enough for most people. Before buying the iPhone, determine how much memory you think you need. With the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max you can choose from 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of storage. With the iPhone 15 Pro Max, only the last three options are available.
The more storage you choose, the more expensive the iPhone 15 is. It is often not necessary to buy a huge amount of memory with an iPhone, because with an iCloud subscription it is much cheaper to expand the storage space. Good to know: the cheapest iPhones (and therefore the devices with the least storage space) are also the most popular. So be quick if you want to buy an iPhone 15 with 128 GB, because they sell out the fastest!
3. Which color do you like best?
Apple has designed a new color palette for the iPhone 15 again this year. The iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus are available in the same five colors. These colors do not have names such as midnight or starlight this time, but are simply called black, blue, green, yellow and pink. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are made of aluminum, with a back of tempered color glass.
With the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max you can choose from four colors. These shades have more extensive names than those of the iPhone 15 (Plus). This is due to the material used in the housing. The colors are called black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium and natural titanium. As you can guess from the name, the Pro models have a titanium housing, which is a first for the iPhone.
Which color you should choose is of course very personal and the options depend largely on the iPhone 15 version you choose. Do you like the colors of the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) better? Then you immediately have to pay a lot more. It is therefore useful to consider in advance whether you are going to use a case, because that immediately makes the color of the iPhone a lot less important.
4. Decide where you want to buy the iPhone 15
The iPhone 15 pre-order starts on September 15 at 2:00 PM. You can then order the new iPhones from the (digital) Apple Store, or from other (online) providers. Check in advance where you want to order your iPhone, so that you can place an order directly with that provider tomorrow. Would you like to pre-order from Apple itself? It is advisable to open several tabs tomorrow just before 2 p.m., from different providers. If your favorite color is sold out somewhere, you can quickly try it somewhere else. Log in with your account everywhere, so that you can be sure that there are no problems with your password. This way you do not have to request your password again, while sales of the iPhone 15 have already started.
5. Check how much your current iPhone is worth
Do you think the new iPhones are on the expensive side? Then you might still be able to get money for your old device! There are several ways to get rid of your old iPhone, such as trading in the phone with Apple itself. Here you often get (too) little money for the device, so it is wiser to sell the iPhone yourself after pre-ordering the iPhone 15. 6. Most importantly: be on time
If you want to receive the new iPhone as quickly as possible, the most important thing is of course that you get it on time tomorrow. It is not known how large the stock of the new iPhones is in the Netherlands, it is reported that the iPhone 15 Pro Max in particular is only available to a limited extent. It is expected that the delivery time of the other iPhone will also increase quickly, especially the version with 128 GB.
Therefore, make sure you are ready tomorrow a little before the start of the pre-order for the iPhone 15. The new iPhones can be ordered from 2 p.m. Dutch time, so try to be logged in to all sites a little earlier and have all tabs open. Also, keep your Rabo Scanner or other payment device at hand, so that you can immediately make a payment via internet banking!
