Oh no! There may be no iPhone 15 Pro Max at all next year. An iPhone 15 Ultra is coming instead.
‘iPhone 15 Ultra replaces the iPhone 15 Pro Max’
The iPhone 14 Pro Max might be the last Pro Max we’ll see. At least, that’s what generally trusted Apple analyst Mark Gurman thinks. According to him, the iPhone 15 Ultra will replace the Pro Max models next year.
According to Bloomberg’s analyst, the iPhone 15 will get a new design, with USB-C. Of course, that also includes a fresh name. According to Gurman, this is the time to do that with the iPhone 15. Since the iPhone 11, the ‘Pro Max’ addition has been used to name the high-end smartphone. But that will be changed to iPhone 15 Ultra next year, according to Gurman.
This rumor is not very strange, because Apple already has several products in its range with the addition ‘Ultra’. Think, for example, of the brand new Apple Watch Ultra or the M1 Ultra chip that you will find in the Mac Studio.

Unfortunately, not much is known about the iPhone 15, because the iPhone 14 has only just appeared. However, there are already some rumors going around. The expectations are that the iPhone 15 will get usb-c next year.
In addition, all models of the iPhone 15 will probably also receive the Dynamic Island. This is the oval bar that replaced the notch (the black notch) at the top of the screen. The Dynamic Island is currently only available with the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
