iPhone 16 Pro gets telephoto lens with tetraprism and more zoom
According to TrendForce, Apple plans to bring the tetraprism camera from the iPhone 15 Pro Max with its 5x optical zoom to the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Usually reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also said this before.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is the only one that already has this camera system. This allows you to zoom 5x optically and 25x digitally. The iPhone 15 Pro ‘only’ has a 3x optical zoom. This also applies to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
According to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a larger screen of 6.3 inches. The screen of the iPhone 15 Pro is 6.1 inches. The extra space will probably make enough space available for the tetraprism camera.
iPhone 16 Pro also gets more colors
According to rumors, Apple is also planning to release two new colors for the iPhone 16 Pro. The rumors say that the new colors will be ‘Titanium Gray’ and ‘Desert Titanium’. This is a kind of space gray that you have also seen on the iPhone 6, among others. The other color is a kind of gold, similar to that of the iPhone 14 Pro.
