Apple prepares the release of the iPhone 16th, which has now surfaced in the first web shops. This is what the cheapest iPhone of 2025 looks like!

A new iPhone is coming! It is expected that Apple will announce the iPhone 16th next week. The phone applies as the successor to the iPhone SE 2022, but becomes much more advanced than that device. According to rumors, the iPhone 16th gets a 6.1-inch screen and the phone is secured with Face ID. These rumors now seem confirmed, because the iPhone 16th has surfaced in the first web shops.
The iPhone 16th has already been added in a French webshop. It is unclear whether the web store is aware of the upcoming release, whether this has done based on rumors. At Spigen, an online store for smartphone covers, the new iPhone has also surfaced. Even images for the telephone cases have been added there, so we know what the cheapest iPhone of the year looks like.
Larger screen and action button
The images of Spigen show that the iPhone 16th will indeed get a 6.1-inch screen. The Dynamic Island is missing from this display, instead the telephone has a notch (the Notch). The iPhone 16th is therefore similar to the iPhone 14, the last regular without Dynamic Island. At the rear, the phone has a much larger camera than the iPhone SE 2022. Probably that is a 48-megapixel camera, with the iPhone SE 2022 that is still a 12-megapixel camera.
The Spigen webshop betrays a new function of the iPhone 16th, because the phone has an action button. That means that the mute-switch is replaced by the new action button, which we saw earlier at the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) and the iPhone 16 series. With the action button you choose which function is linked to the button. This way you can activate the flashlight, camera, silent mode or another feature with the button.
Release of the iPhone 16th
Other new functions of the iPhone 16th are a USB-C port and the A18 chip. With this processor, the phone receives support for all functions of Apple Intelligence. These parts of the iPhone 16e are not yet confirmed at the web shops, so that remains to be seen. Next week we know that for sure, if Apple officially announces the iPhone 16th.
It is expected that Apple will present the new iPhone on Tuesday at the latest. This is done via a press release with video, so there will be no special event. In any case, it is almost certain that the release is coming, especially now that the iPhone 16th is popping up at the first web shops. So just patience, next week it will be clear which functions will come to the cheapest iPhone of 2025 and what name the device will get.
