The battery life of the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro (MAX) has been considerably improved compared to earlier models thanks to larger batteries and an energy-efficient A19 chip. Improved processor
The new iPhone 17 Pro (MAX) is equipped by Apple with the powerful A19 Pro processor that is considerably more energy efficient. This advanced 3-nanometer chip not only offers a faster 6-core CPU, improved 6-core GPU with neural accelerators, but also a powerful neural engine for machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The iPhone 17 is equipped with a reduced A19 chip with 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU. For both the standard model and the pro you will immediately notice these innovations in the longer battery life. Heavy tasks such as watching videos, gaming and photographing are performed smoothly and efficiently, while energy consumption remains low. Thanks to the chip, the battery will last for longer on a single charge.
The iPhone Air is equipped with the same A19 Pro chip but instead of 6-core GPU has this 5-core. This has a positive influence on the battery life, which is significantly less than the other new models.
Energy-efficient N1 chip
The new N1 chip in the iPhone 17 is a chip designed by Apple for wireless networks. This chip supports the latest standards such as WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread, which means that faster, more stable and more energy efficient Wireless connections are possible. The N1 chip also improves the performance and reliability of functions such as the personal hotspot and airdrop.
Larger battery added

For example, if you own an iPhone 17 Pro Max, it has a battery capacity of 5088 mAh. If you do not use it intensively, it uses an average of 110mA per hour and the battery lasts around 46 hours (5088/110 = 46.25 hours of battery life). Unfortunately, a device is used more intensively and you will soon be on a battery life of an average of 25 hours.
