iPhone 17 gets much better screen (because of these three improvements)
New iPhones are coming in September. There are four new devices: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 Air. Hereby the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air receive a few cool upgrades for the screen.
Thin (er) edges
The iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max already had the thinnest edges around the screen. And these thin edges will now also bring Apple to the regular iPhone 17 (and iPhone 17 Air). Dynamic Island
However, it doesn’t stop there. Because according to the same account, Apple will also change something about Dynamic Island. Since the introduction to the iPhone 14 Pro, this interactive island at the top of the screen is indispensable for the iPhone. But with the iPhone 17 the Dynamic Island gets an upgrade.
What Apple will change at the Dynamic Island is not known. Something will probably be adjusted to the software side, and the hardware will remain the same. We are curious!
Always On comes to the iPhone 17
Where the Always-on screen was an exclusive function for the Pro models for years, this will change with the iPhone 17. The iPhone 17 becomes the first regular model with promotion, which means that Always-on comes to the ‘normal’ iPhone for the first time.
More new functions
In addition to the screen, the iPhone 17 naturally gets even more upgrades, including the front camera. Where the current iPhones still have a 12-megapixel camera on the front, it will be a 24-megapixel camera with the iPhone 17.
