Several rumors say that the chip in the iPhone SE 2025 is codenamed T8140. This code was also used on the A18 and the A18 Pro chip. The iPhone SE 4 is a budget smartphone, which is why it is likely that the A18 chip will be included in the device.
You may recognize these chips, because this is also the chip in the iPhone 16. The iPhone SE 2025 will then be almost as fast as the latest, regular iPhone. The previous SE also received a smooth chip at release. This was the A15 chip that is also in the iPhone 13.

But the chip is not the only improvement of the iPhone SE 4. According to rumors, the smartphone will also have a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Face ID and a USB-C port. You will also find a single 48-megapixel camera on the back and it will have the first 5G modem made by Apple itself.
The current iPhone looks a lot like an iPhone 8 and has, among other things, a Touch ID button, lightning port and thick edges. According to the latest rumors, the iPhone SE 2025 will mainly resemble the iPhone 14.
It is not yet known what the final name of the new SE will be. It would iPhone SE 2025 or iPhone SE fourth generation can be. But rumors also think that the new name iPhone 16E can be.

Apple will likely release the new iPhone SE sometime around March or April. The iPhone SE 2022 then had a suggested retail price of 439 euros (and currently costs around € 439). But we expect the iPhone SE 2025 to be a bit more expensive. Rumors even think that the price will be around 600 euros.
