Listening to digital radio in the car

digital dab in the car(1)

More and more radio stations broadcast via DAB+, the digital successor to FM on the air. To receive these channels in the car, manufacturer Hama developed a device for the car radio.

A DAB receiver is fitted as standard in new cars. The sound and reception via DAB are better than via FM. Older cars have to make do with AM and FM. Those who like to listen to the digital channels or versions of the well-known FM stations can connect the CDR70BT from Hama to their car radio.

The device ensures that the DAB signal is played via the existing car radio. The module also works via Bluetooth. Thus, music stored on a smartphone can also be sent to the device for listening.

The device has enough memory to store thirty stations. You can switch on five favorite channels directly via hot keys. The time is shown on the screen of the Hama. The device costs about 98 euros and is available via webshops such as bol.com for sale.
