Mazda is the next manufacturer in the United States to choose to use ‘Tesla charging connection’ on its (future) electric cars.
The list of car brands switching to Tesla charging connections in the United States is growing steadily. Mazda is the next manufacturer on the growing list of car manufacturers that will implement the NACS charging connection. Mazda will apply the NACS connection to its electric models in the United States from 2025. Which EVs are those? We are still somewhat in the dark about this.
Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai and Kia, Jaguar and Land Rover, Nissan, Rivian, Subaru, Volvo and Polestar have now announced that they will use the NACS connections. EVs from these brands will soon be able to easily charge at Tesla’s Superchargers. So practical. Currently, Mazda does not sell any EVs in the United States. The MX-30 is not available there.
