Two power versions: 387 and 421 hp
Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4Matic +
Mercedes-AMG completes the range of compact, sporty models with the GLA 45 4Matic +. The SUV gets the same powerful 2.0 turbo engine as the A-Class and CLA.
Mercedes-AMG takes over the GLA. There was already a 35 “AMG light” from the SUV, but now comes the “real” AMG version: the GLA 45 4Matic +. This has a 2.0 turbo engine assembled by hand, with 387 hp and 480 Nm. In the S version, the gasoline engine even delivers 421 hp and 500 Nm. The latter has 40 hp more than the previous AMG version of the GLA, but the figures are exactly the same as those of the A 45 and CLA 45.
The compact SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds (4.3 seconds for the S version). Thanks to the smart 4Matic + system, the forces are ideally distributed over the four wheels. The chassis, brakes and steering were of course addressed by AMG. The sporty version also has a reinforced body, including an aluminum plate under the engine. All parameters can be adjusted to your own taste through various driving programs.
The GLA 45 carries the well-known AMG grille with vertical bars. Bumpers, skirts, spoilers and large alloy wheels are of course present, just like a sporty interior. The GLA 45 AMG language also breathes digitally, because the layout of the MBUX multimedia system is designed in AMG style.
The Mercedes-AMG 45 4Matic + will come to the Netherlands later this year, the prices are not yet known.
