Eight colors and more leather
Mercedes-Benz reveals its Manufaktur program for the AMG variant of its S-class. Eight additional colors can be selected via Mercedes’ exclusive branch and the brand designed extra luxurious interior decoration. Under the skin, the Manufaktur department leaves the Mercedes-AMG S-class untouched.
For those who think that the choice of decoration is too scanty when ordering a Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance, the brand has good news: the Manufaktur department of the Germans has done its pee on the sporty top limousine. In addition, it presents eight extra exterior colors, extra details for the interior and five color combinations for the extensive Nappa leather upholstery. One of those combinations immediately catches the eye, because from now on you can choose to equip your S-class AMG with pastel yellow leather! Unfortunately for us, the brand does not yet publish any photos.
Yes, you can now order the Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance with a black and yellow Nappa leather interior. The other four Manufaktur options are Black & Brown, Black & Beige, Black & Blue, and Black & White. The brand also overloads the inside with exclusive AMG and Manufaktur logos and applies a hand-stitched steering wheel.
On the outside of the S-class, the Manufaktur department does not change anything, except – if desired – the color. The special wishes branch adds eight colors to the palette available for the AMG, two of which have a matte finish: matte black and matte gold are now available ex works. Other options include two blue, two gray, one red and one green shade.
The prices for the extra exclusive decoration are €4,719 for the ‘regular’ paint colours, €7,139 for the matt paint colors and €11,192 for the Manufaktur interior package. The starting price for a Mercedes-AMG S63 E-Performance Lang (the variant with a short wheelbase cannot be ordered in the Netherlands) is €236,070. For that you get a four-wheel drive S-class with a plug-in hybrid V8 with a system power of 802 hp and 1,430 Nm of torque, good for a standard sprint time of 3.3 seconds and an (optional) limited top speed of 290 km / h.
