Still single and hopelessly looking for true love with various texts? With these cars in your profile you ensure the most and least matches.
Anyone looking for a new relationship in 2020 will no longer necessarily dive into the pub – certainly given the corona measures. Apps like Tinder act like cupid these days. One calls it a meat inspection, for the other it is the ideal invention. For anyone unfamiliar with such an app: singles create a profile and based on photos and short pieces of text they can judge each other whether they are a match or not. A new study shows that you can influence your profile quite a bit. The British Click4Rag researched which cars provide more or less positive matches.
Tinder Top 3
The agency investigated itself and swiped its way around, changing the photo with a car three hundred times. People pretended to be both a woman and a man and took fifteen popular cars. In general, a Mercedes-Benz C-class turns out to be a true matchmaker. Of the 300 swipes, the profile with a C-class got back 218. With a success rate of 72.6 percent, it leaves all other cars behind. In second place is a Range Rover Sport (213 matches, 71 percent), followed by a Volkswagen Polo (210 matches, 70 percent) and the BMW 3 Series (204 matches, 68 percent). Other cars that score well are a Volkswagen Golf, Mini Cooper and Audi A3.
Least attractive
The research also revealed which cars should not be used with a Tinder profile. As can be expected, these are less ‘fat’ cars. In last place is the Toyota Yaris. Just over half swept for a match with the Yaris driver. Drivers of a Hyundai i10 and Nissan Micra should also not use their car for more matches.
Rent
There are still some differences between men and women. For example, women are more attracted to owners of a C-class, Range Rover Sport and 3-series. Men more often gave a heart to drivers of a Range Rover Sport, Audi A3 and Volkswagen Polo. Furthermore, 45 percent of daters say that an old car is unattractive. Are you now single and are you planning to take a picture with a C-class? Then you are not alone. One in four of those surveyed admit they would rent a car to impress potential dates.
