After corona, trading nicely in cars older than 40 years old again
No one can confirm whether it is because the corona troubles are largely behind us, but whatever the case, in 2022 considerably more old-timers of forty years and older will have been traded in our country than in the previous year. Compared to the 9,909 over-40s sold in 2022, there will be 6,834 in 2021, a difference of no less than 45 percent!
Particularly noteworthy is the growth in the share of car companies in this. In 2021, companies will still account for 26 percent of total old-timer sales, in 2022 their share will grow to 32 percent. Especially the trade in Mercedes cars of more than 40 years old is growing, the brand stands head and shoulders above it.
