Rumour: Apple Watch SE 2022 price going up
The first Apple Watch SE appeared in 2020. This model copied many functions of the then brand new Apple Watch Series 6, but was much cheaper and therefore very popular. It is therefore logical that Apple is working on a successor and AppleLeaksPro claims to have information about this watch in their hands.
This tech journalist regularly brings out rumors about new Apple products and claims to have spoken with an anonymous source within the company.
If the source is right, the new Apple Watch will have an always-on screen. As the name suggests, such a screen is always on, so that you can read incoming messages and the time, for example, without having to activate the screen. Earlier models, including the Apple Watch Series 7, already have such an always-on display.
Speaking of that watch: according to the source, the Apple Watch SE 2022 will get the same processor. It is the S7 chip. This processor should ensure that the new SE model becomes more powerful and faster. The current Apple Watch SE is powered by an S5 chip. We know this chip from the Apple Watch Series 5.
Furthermore, LeaksApplePro claims that the next Apple Watch SE can make heart films. The watch is said to have an ECG function. The tipster also expects the battery life to be stretched and that the new SE will get an improved speaker.
