Apple adds new watches to database
New Apple Watches have been added to the database of Bluetooth. All products equipped with Bluetooth must be registered in this database, including the new watches from Apple. Apple is expected to unveil two new smartwatches next month and the database now seems to confirm that.

There are no details (yet) on the product page for Bluetooth, only that the new device runs on watchOS. The model number and name of the device have not yet been entered. This makes it almost certain that it concerns the new Apple Watches, which Apple will announce soon. We already know this about the new watches.
Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 expected
Like every year, a new generation of the regular Apple Watch will appear in the fall. The Series 9 will appear this year, but that is probably not the only new smartwatch from Apple this year. Apple’s most expensive watch will also receive an update, because the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be released this fall.
The new watches get a major update in terms of hardware, because they are equipped with the new S9 chip. This is the first time in years that the Apple Watches run on a truly new processor. The current chip is still almost the same as the processor we saw in the Series 6. With the S9 chip, the watches are a lot faster and more energy efficient.
Watches appear in new colors
Besides the new S9 chip, the watches are unlikely to receive major updates. We can expect the models of the smartwatches in a new color. The Series 9 reportedly appears in a pink color, while the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be released in a dark titanium variant. This is the first time that Apple introduces a new color with the Ultra, the watch only appeared in one color last year.
