New dummy models of the iPhone 16 have appeared and this time also of the iPhone 16 Pro. This will be different on the next iPhones!
New dummy models iPhone 16 (Pro)
Dummy models of the iPhone 16 already appeared last week, but this time they are dummy models of all iPhone 16 variants. So now the Pro models can also be seen. They give a clear view of the new capture button, the redesigned camera island and more.
The new iPhone 16 dummy models were shared on social media by Sonny Dickson. We’ll give you an overview of the changes you can see thanks to these images.
- The action button is on all iPhone 16 models. Until now, we only saw that button on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- The new capture button is on the right side of the iPhones. The capture button gets a mechanical design, but also a touch-sensitive surface for zooming in and out.
- The iPhone 16 Pro is a little bit bigger than the iPhone 16. And the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a little bit bigger than the iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a 6.3-inch display (0.2 inches larger than that of the iPhone 15 Pro) and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display (also 0.2 inches larger). than that of its predecessor).
- The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will have a vertically aligned camera island. This will probably allow the ‘regular’ iPhone 16 models to record spatial video for the Apple Vision Pro.
New iPhones will be released in September
The iPhone 16 is expected to have largely the same design as the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 is mainly notable for its thinner screen edges. Due to these narrower edges, the iPhone’s housing is slightly smaller than that of the iPhone 14. The iPhone 16 will probably adopt these thin edges.
We will probably see the Dynamic Island again with the ‘regular’ iPhone 16 models. On the Pro models, the Face ID sensor disappears under the screen, making the Dynamic Island redundant. As with the iPhone 15 series, ProMotion is limited to the Pro models, which means that the regular iPhones will once again not have an always-on screen this year.
