Few changes with the iPhone 15

According to previous rumors, the housing of the next iPhone will be slightly adjusted, for example, the iPhone 15 will have thinner screen edges than we currently see on the iPhone 14. This makes the screen of the new iPhone slightly larger, but the dimensions of the iPhone 15 remain virtually unchanged.

The iPhone 15 will reportedly weigh 171 grams, which is slightly lighter than the iPhone 14. The thickness of the phone is rumored to be exactly the same as its predecessor: 7.8 millimeters. No dimensions have been leaked (yet) about the iPhone 15 Plus.
iPhone 15 Pro (Max) becomes lighter
The housing of the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be significantly modified, as the phones will have a titanium housing for the first time. This has a number of advantages, for example titanium is a lot lighter than the stainless steel casing of previous iPhones. The iPhone 15 Pro (Max) therefore weighs a lot less than the iPhone 14 Pro (Max).
The iPhone 15 Pro’s body reportedly weighs 188 grams, compared to 206 grams on the iPhone 14 Pro. With the iPhone 15 Pro Max the difference is even greater, the phone weighs only 221 grams. The iPhone 14 Pro Max weighs 240 grams, so the new iPhones are a lot less heavy this year. This probably makes the new Pro models much more comfortable to hold.
But: Pro models are thicker
The iPhone 15 Pro (Max) will therefore be less heavy, but is slightly thicker than the iPhone 14 Pro (Max). Both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are rumored to have a thickness of 8.25 millimeters, with the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) this was 7.85 millimeters. Furthermore, the dimensions of the iPhone 15 Pro with a height of 146.6 millimeters and a width of 70.6 millimeters are almost the same as its predecessor.

The same applies to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, where the dimensions are also virtually unchanged. The phone reportedly has a height of 159.9 millimeters and a width of 76.7 millimeters. With the new Pro models, the thickness and weight of the device mainly change.
