The new Hyundai Tucson will be at the dealers in mid-January. The brand today announces prices for all powertrains: gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid.
The fourth generation Hyundai Tucson is coming! The Korean brand offers the SUV, according to her power-of-choicephilosophy: you choose which drive suits you. If you go for the petrol version, you can get it from 34,995 euros. If you prefer an automatic transmission instead of the Intelligent Manual Transmission (a six-speed gearbox), you can order the 7-speed DCT with double clutch at an additional cost of 2,000 euros. The 1.6 liter T-GDI Smartstream petrol engine delivers 150 hp and features 48 volt mild hybrid technology.
Hybrid versions
The hybrid (without plug) combines the same petrol power source with a 44.2 kW electric motor. This produces a system power of 230 hp. A 1.49 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack and 6-speed automatic transmission complete this ‘HEV’ powertrain, which is available from 37,995 euros.
If you also want to be able to drive electrically – up to a maximum of 56 km (according to WLTP) – choose the PHEV, the plug-in hybrid that has a 66.9 kW electric motor and a battery pack of 13.8 kWh. The system power is 265 hp, the torque is 304 Nm. This plug hybrid has four-wheel drive as standard. Including machine you pay from 43,995 euros. All prices can be found in the table below.

Versions
The entry-level version i-Motion has 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control with speed limit, a reversing camera, digital radio reception DAB + and a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel as standard. In the Comfort version you also get an equally large multimedia screen with navigation, smartphone app, privacy glass and heated front seats. These are supplied in leather look with the top version Premium. In addition, this version has a blind spot monitor, Remote Smart Parking Assist and 19 inch light metal.
The new generation Hyundai Tucson is 20 mm longer than before (exactly 4.5 meters), 15 mm wider and offers 26 mm extra legroom in the rear. Depending on the powertrain, the trunk offers a minimum of 558 to a maximum of 1,795 liters of luggage space. The petrol version and hybrid will be available first. The plug-in hybrid follows and later comes a sporty N Line version.
