A new iPad Pro and an improved Magic Keyboard are rumored to arrive in 2024. This will make the lightning-fast iPad look even more like a laptop.
New iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard in 2024
In his recent newsletter, Mark Gurman talks about the next generation iPad Pro. He says that this will be the first, really major update since 2018. The iPad Pro then gets a few major changes.
The new models, which are rumored to be codenamed ‘J717’, ‘J718’, ‘J720’ and ‘J721’, will have an M3 chip and an OLED screen. In addition, there will be an 11-inch version and a large 13-inch tablet.
In addition to the upgrades with the iPad Pro, an updated version of the Magic Keyboard will also be available in 2024. This keyboard gets a larger trackpad, which was often regarded as a point of criticism in the current version. According to Gurman, this upgrade of the trackpad ensures that the iPad Pro 2024 can be seen even more as a laptop replacement.
The iPad Pro 2024 and the updated Magic Keyboard are not expected until sometime in the spring or early summer of next year. Until then, you can only expect a few minor updates to the other iPad models.
