New on Netflix: May 2024
New series and films are regularly available on Netflix. That’s why we look up iPhoned every month ahead of the new offer with the best tips. These are often new series and films, but old favorites also regularly appear on Netflix. We’ll tell you what’s new on Netflix in May 2024!

1. Bridgerton (season 3)
The unprecedentedly popular Netflix series Bridgerton is back for a third season. This costume drama focuses on a different couple each season. This time it’s Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. Please note: you can only watch the first four new episodes this month. The rest will follow in June.
The first part of the third season of Bridgerton is available May 16 on Netflix.
2. Costa!! the series
Club Costa will be in the hands of a new generation, who will have to work hard to prevent closure. It will be a summer full of sun, sea and parties.
Costa!! the series is from May 2 on Netflix.
3. Unfrosted
Jerry Seinfield not only co-wrote this new Netflix film, but also directed and played the lead role. Unfrosted is extremely American, because the film is about the competition between two companies that make breakfast cereals and the origins of the Pop-Tart. In addition to Seinfield, you will see Melissa McCarthy, Hugh Grant, Christian Slater and Amy Schumer.
Unfrosted is from 3rd of May on Netflix.
4. A Man in Full
Jeff Daniels is back on the drama series A Man in Full. The actor plays real estate magnate Charlie Croker who goes bankrupt and then does everything he can to defend his empire.
A Man in Full is available from May 2 on Netflix.
5. Atlas
Netflix still had a CGI jar that needed to be used and the result is Atlas. In it, Jennifer Lopez plays a data analyst who doesn’t think much of AI, but then it turns out she still needs AI to survive.
Atlas is from May 24 on Netflix.
Apple TV Plus May 2024
Apple TV Plus will not be busy in May with new series and films to watch, but you can still look forward to the following things.
Acapulco (season 3)
In comedy series Acapulco you follow the employees of a wonderful resort in Mexico. This happens via two timelines, with a man telling his son about his time at the resort.

DarkMatter
Apple brings even more science fiction to your television, this time with a series based on the book DarkMatter. In it, a man is kidnapped by himself from another reality.
You can watch Dark Matter from there May 8th on Apple TV Plus.
Trying
The fourth season of Trying takes a leap in time, because the young family with adopted children is six years later. Teenage daughter Princess would now like to have contact with her biological mother.

Disney Plus May 2024
Doctor Who is back! This season marks a new start for the series, so that’s why BBC and Disney are choosing to call it ‘season 1’. Disney Plus also has more to watch in May.
