You can pre-order the new Apple Watch Series 7 starting this Friday. Apple just confirmed this in a press release. From Friday October 15 the new smartwatch is in the shops.
Apple Watch Series 7 pre-order
The new Apple Watch Series 7 was announced during the Apple event in September, but a release date was not yet known. The tech giant did not give more information than that the Series 7 will be available ‘later this fall’. Now we know that the pre-order is on October 8 at 2 p.m. Start.
If you are quick with ordering, you will have the Apple Watch Series 7 at the earliest Friday October 15 at home. If you want to have the Apple Watch Series 7 on your wrist as soon as possible, it is wise to order the smartwatch immediately after 2 p.m. on Friday. There is a chance that stocks will be tight, causing delivery times to increase quickly.
Before then, make sure you already know which model you are going for. First of all, you can choose from two sizes: 41 millimeters and 45 millimeters. The sizes represent the height of the watch case. Which format you choose depends on your personal preference. People with large wrists often prefer the larger version, and vice versa.
Furthermore, the Apple Watch Series 7 is available in different colors. This time there are five: Midnight (black), Starlight (white), red, blue and green. There is also a Nike and Hermès of the Apple Watch available again.
Innovations
The Apple Watch Series 7 has a screen surface that is almost 20 percent larger than the Apple Watch Series 6. It is also a lot sturdier, because the glass has become 50 percent thicker. The Series 7 also has a few new watch faces that take advantage of the larger screen. For example, there is an improved variant of the modular watch face.
Also nice is the support for fast charging. According to Apple, the smartwatch is charged 33 percent faster. With a battery charge you can do about eighteen hours: enough to get through the day. Apple Watch Series 7 prices
The Dutch prices are not yet known. We do know the US prices and they are the same as the Series 6 had after launch. The expected prices in the Netherlands for the Apple Watch Series 7 are therefore as follows:
- Apple Watch Series 7 (41 mm): 428.25 euros
- Apple Watch Series 7 (45mm): EUR 458.25
- Apple Watch Series 7 Cellular (41 mm): 528.25 euros
- Apple Watch Series 7 Cellular (45 mm): 558.25 euros
