OnePlus has officially announced its new top device, the OnePlus 10 Pro, in China. It comes with an improved LTPO display, a more powerful fast charger and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Converted and including VAT, the phone would cost about 787 euros here.
OnePlus 10 Pro
We finally get to know everything about the OnePlus 10 Pro after months of rumors and information that was systematically released by OnePlus itself. OnePlus has only released the phone in China for the time being and nothing is known about the official prices and availability in the Netherlands and Belgium. OnePlus also only launched a Pro version for the time being and not a regular OnePlus 10.
OnePlus’ most powerful phone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, which is a second-generation LTPO screen. That is, the screen more flexibly adjusts the refresh rate. When needed, you get to see smooth animations in 120Hz and at other times the phone saves battery. The screen is protected by the strong Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which can also be found on the glass back. There is room on the phone for dual speakers and the fingerprint scanner is located under the screen. OnePlus has not announced anything about IP68 water resistance this time.

Speed, cooling, overclocking
All power of the OnePlus 10 Pro comes from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. That is the latest high-end processor from Qualcomm. Two storage variants have also been announced: 8 GB / 128 GB and 12 GB / 256 GB. But keep in mind that availability might differ with us. The OnePlus 10 Pro runs on ColorOS 12 in China which is based on Android 12. The phone is expected to run on OxygenOS with us, but during the course of this year we expect the company to introduce its new software shell that is completely with ColorOS. fused.

The sturdier 5,000 mAh battery will this time come with an 80W fast charger that charges a quarter faster than its predecessor. The company also announced that it has improved cooling technology this year and now uses a system that is just over half the size of an A4 paper. For gamers, OnePlus is also launching a feature called Hyperboost that allows users to “overclock” the processor for more powerful performance.
Hasselblad camera
And then there is of course the camera, which was developed for the second time in collaboration with Hasselblad. Last year it was announced that this collaboration had primarily to do with image processing.
The first on the back is a 48 MP main camera armed with laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. The new 50MP wide-angle camera lets users take photos at a wide 150-degree angle, and it has a larger sensor that captures more light. Furthermore, there is again an 8 MP telephoto camera that is good for 3.3x optical zoom. The selfie camera is a 32 MP one.
Prices and availability
In China, the OnePlus 10 Pro will come in a green and black color. Nothing is known about the availability and prices in the Netherlands and Belgium. Although the Chinese prices already give an indication and it seems that the phone will be cheaper compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro last year. It was for sale from 899 euros.
Below you can see the converted prices with the application of VAT. Please note that actual prices will differ with us.
- OnePlus 10 Pro – (8GB + 128GB) – 787 euros
- OnePlus 10 Pro – (12GB + 256GB) – 887 euros
