Apple’s most recent mini-phone is anything but a success. This is apparent from the sales figures of the iPhone 13 mini, which are very disappointing.
iPhone 13 mini sells poorly
The iPhone 13 mini is not a hit. We already knew that, but last quarter’s sales are even lower than we thought. Only three percent of iPhone 13 smartphones sold in the United States were iPhone 13 mini. This is evident from data from Consumer Research Intelligence Partners†The sales figures of other iPhone 13 models have increased considerably compared to previous years.
Together, the iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max accounted for a whopping 71 percent of all iPhone sales. 31 percent of the sales figures are due to the regular iPhone 13. The low number of iPhone 13 minis sold means that there is still little interest in smaller smartphones. That’s why Apple will replace the mini model in September for the iPhone 14 Max, which will have a 6.7-inch screen.
However, we don’t expect Apple to stop producing the iPhone 13 mini later this year, despite the low sales figures. The manufacturer will probably offer the device for another year or two for a lower price. However, a new mini-model is not planned. Are you in the minority who like small iPhones? Then you will really have to get used to larger screens in the future. Unless Apple decides to make an iPhone SE 4 in the form of a 13 mini, of course.

More about the small Apple phone
The iPhone 13 mini is the same as the regular iPhone 13 in terms of specifications. The big difference is the smaller design. This is due to the 5.4 inch screen of the mini, which is a lot smaller than the 6.1 inch screen of the iPhone 13. Also, the battery of the iPhone 13 mini is logically a bit smaller. As a result, it does not last as long as its bigger brother, but a lot longer than its predecessor, the iPhone 12 mini.
Despite its compact design, Apple has also managed to cram a rock-solid camera system into the iPhone 13 mini. We find a double camera on the back: a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens of both 12 megapixels. For selfies and video calls, use the Face ID camera on the front, with a resolution of 12 megapixels.
