OPPO announces the introduction of its latest Reno series smartphones in the Netherlands with the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G and the OPPO Reno10 5G. Read here the specifications including the Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System which consists of a triple camera combo with the first ever 32MP telephoto portrait camera.

The new OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G and the OPPO Reno10 5G feature the iconic thin and lightweight design of the Reno series. They offer a more comfortable grip and a premium visual experience with a 3D curved design that is only 7.89 mm thick (1) and weighs just 185 grams (2). Equipped with SUPERVOOC flash charge, OPPO’s Battery Health Engine and a SUPERVOOC S power management chip (3), the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno 10 5G can charge faster and provide longer battery life. Together with a powerful SoC, more storage space, an improved ultra-conductive cooling system and the latest ColorOS 13.1, the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G deliver strong and reliable performance. In addition, they guarantee a smooth all-round experience that will last up to at least four years.

The Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G also feature an Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System consisting of a triple camera combo with the industry’s first-ever 32MP telephoto portrait camera powered by a Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor. With this camera’s 2X optical zoom and enhanced portrait mode, the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G can capture natural, ultra-clear portraits in any situation. In this way, the devices ensure that the Reno series can continue to fulfill its role as a portrait expert.

New 3D curved design with slim body and comfortable grip
The Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G have the slim and light design that has become a permanent feature of the Reno series. Due to the 3D curved housing, both models appear visually thinner and offer a comfortable grip for the user. Both devices are available in Silver Gray.
On the back of both phones, an advanced bonding technique is used with glass and metal materials to create a two-tone design around the camera area. The top half of this zone contains the main camera, while the bottom half houses the telephoto lens and the 112° ultra-wide-angle camera.
The front of the phone features a 120Hz 3D curved screen with an industry-leading 93% screen-to-body ratio. Thanks to the ultra-thin bottom bezel (2.32 mm) and the 1.57 mm bezels on the left and right sides, the practical edge-to-edge screen always guarantees a beautiful visual experience. In addition, the 6.7-inch display has a high 120Hz refresh rate and support for one billion colors. This provides a more responsive, detailed and lifelike visual experience.

Ultra Clear Portrait Camera System
The Reno10 Series offers an improved Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System with a new camera combo for the Reno10 Series. The Reno10 Pro 5G has a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50MP IMX890 main camera, a 32MP IMX709 telephoto portrait camera and a 112° 8MP ultra wide angle camera. A 32MP selfie camera is placed on the front of the device, again with an IMX709 sensor. The Reno10 5G also features a large 64MP ½-inch sensor on its main camera for even greater clarity, and a 32MP IMX709 telephoto portrait camera for a better portrait experience. With the camera systems of both models, the Reno10 series allows users to easily take extremely clear photos with more detail in any situation.
Of these three cameras, the 32MP telephoto portrait camera provides beautiful portrait shots on the smartphone. The 2X optical zoom allows the camera to be used for high-resolution images with a professional portrait focal length of 47mm. As a result, natural and undistorted portraits can be captured realistically. A BG spin-coating process has also been applied to the lens to create an infrared light-absorbing film that reduces ghosting and improves image clarity. In addition, the camera’s IMX709 RGBW sensor can gather more information about the exposure, enabling users to capture clear and sharp portraits even in dark environments.
If the user wants to take a picture of a friend in a crowd or against a complex background, the telephoto camera can be used to pull the subject of the picture forward and make it stand out as the clear focus of the camera. Framing the shot at the professional portrait focal lengths also allows users to visually compress the space and enlarge the landscape in the distance. This helps to draw attention to both subject and background.
For general photo and video recording, the Reno10 Pro 5G’s 50MP main camera features a top Sony IMX890 sensor. This large 1/1.56-inch sensor has 4-in-1 pixels in 2.0μm format and a large aperture of f/1.8. This allows for more light recording in different filming environments. With OIS and All Pixel Omni-Direction PDAF, the camera provides greater stability and corrects for minor shakes.
Building on this powerful camera setup, the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G have received a new Portrait Expert Engine. This system optimizes the portrait photography process in areas such as subject recognition and segmentation, preservation of skin tones and image clarity, thanks to OPPO’s AI algorithms for beautiful resolution and other advanced image processing techniques.
With portrait mode, users now have access to a new 2X focal length offered by the telephoto portrait camera, on top of the ability to change the aperture setting to any value between f1.4 and f16. These adjustable settings allow the bokeh effects to be fine-tuned to create portrait styles with beautiful depth-of-field effects, while images remain natural and lifelike.

All-round improved performance
OPPO has long been at the forefront of providing faster and more reliable charging technology. A number of new features have been added to the Reno10 series that further improve battery and charging performance. With 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, the Reno10 Pro 5G can be charged to 100% in about 28 minutes (4). For the first time, OPPO’s own power management chip – SUPERVOOC S – has also been added to the Reno series. SUPERVOOC S combines six functions including charging, discharging, decoding, resetting, battery protection and circuit breaker in a single chip. As a result, the space that fast charging components have to occupy in the phone is reduced by 45% and the battery discharge efficiency increases to 99.5%. With SUPERVOOC S, the long-lasting 4,600mAh battery of the Reno10 Pro 5G can provide about a day and a half of use when fully charged. As a result, users can enjoy even longer battery life with just one charge.
With 67W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, the Reno10 5G also offers fast charging with the ability to charge the large 5,000mAh battery to 100% in approximately 47 minutes (5).
With the additional support of OPPO’s exclusive Battery Health Engine, the effective battery life of both Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G can be extended to a whopping 1,600 charge and discharge cycles (6).
The core performance of the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G is provided by the Snapdragon 778G 5G and the MediaTek Dimensity 7050, respectively. Both chipsets deliver super-powerful computational performance and a faster 5G experience, all with lower power consumption. Together with the improved ultra-conductive cooling system, users enjoy demanding applications without sacrificing comfort or performance.
In addition, OPPO’s system-level optimization – the Dynamic Computing Engine – has been implemented on both devices, achieving the most thorough reconstruction of Android’s memory management system to date. With the Dynamic Computing Engine, the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G can dynamically adjust memory access speeds up to 16 times the previous capacity. With the dynamic memory allocation function, the Reno10 Pro 5G (7) can also keep more than 40 apps running in the background at the same time.
In terms of storage, the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G both come with support for OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology. When enabled, the phone can virtually convert unused ROM space into up to 12GB of RAM (8). As a result, users can keep more apps open at the same time and also switch between them more smoothly.
Thanks to all these optimizations, the Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G are able to provide all-round optimal smoothness for up to four years. The Reno10 Pro 5G has also received an A rating in the TÜV SÜD 48-Month Fluency Certification.

Color OS 13.1
The improved ColorOS 13.1 brings all these features together in a smart and convenient interface. Through Multi-Screen Connect, users can connect Reno10 series smartphones to a computer to work on multiple devices without worry. Once connected, users can directly open, edit, copy or paste files on the phone through a computer. It is also possible to transfer files such as images, music and videos between both devices without using mobile data. Notifications on the phone can be displayed in real time on the computer, while camera and screen recording functions on both devices work simultaneously. Up to two phone applications can also run simultaneously on a connected computer. That way, it’s a breeze to work with more than one smartphone app at the same time.
The Smart AOD provides control for Spotify and select meal delivery apps without having to unlock the phone. For people who regularly share screenshots of chats with friends or post on social media, Auto Pixelate can hide profile pictures and names in the screenshot behind pixels with just one click, improving the privacy of users and their friends.
