The MG news is sloshing against the plinths today. After news of four completely new models and the prices of the new engine versions of the MG 4, we now have the facelifted MG EHS for you.

Within MG’s Dutch range, the EHS is not exactly the model with which it attracts the most attention. Of the 3,011 cars that MG delivered in our country in the first half of 2023, 2,807 were not EHS. Why? Unlike the well-scoring MG 4 Electric and every other MG in the Netherlands, the MG EHS is not an EV, but a plug-in hybrid. The SUV was presented in 2020 and had to do with the ‘old’ MG front until now. Now the design of the EHS has also been refreshed.

The appearance of the renewed MG EHS will probably not make your mouth open in surprise. In April this year we were already able to show you the upgraded HS in the United Kingdom, the non-plug-in EHS. The plug-in hybrid EHS supplied in the Netherlands is, of course, like two drops of water. It is striking that the renewed EHS front shows strong similarities with that of MGs that were not delivered in Europe, such as the current MG 6, although it also shows similarities with the smaller ZS.

The SUV gets new headlights, a grille that has now been detached from those viewers and that also has a completely new shape. At the rear we see a new bumper and rear lights with a new layout. The MG EHS gets new alloy wheels, becomes available in the new Oxide Gray color and benefits from sharpened infotainment.

The powertrain of the MG EHS is not tinkered with, so you ‘just’ get another SUV with a system power of 258 hp that can travel up to 52 kilometers electrically. The prices of the MG EHS also remain unchanged, so it is available from €37,385 as a Comfort. For the Luxury version you pay €40,385.
