Prices new Nissan Qashqai announced

The prices of the regular versions of the brand new Nissan Qashqai are known. The Qashqai will eventually get the E-Power powertrain, but we have to wait for that. We can tell you what the prices of the new Nissan Qashqai with mild hybrid 1.3 TCe are. The new Qashqai will be available at Dutch dealers from the summer.

The new third generation of the Nissan Qashqai is clearly recognizable as Qashqai, but is completely new down to the smallest nut. The car is built on a brand new platform, a technical basis that makes the arrival of the E-Power hybrid powertrain possible. The Qashqai E-Power is always electrically powered, but it is not an EV. That Qashqai E-Power will not come to the Netherlands until later, Nissan’s new potential success number will first be available with mild-hybrid petrol engines. The new Nissan Qashqai with these new petrol engines could already be ordered as a Premiere Edition and now the prices of the regular versions are also known.

The starting price of the new Nissan Qashqai is € 33,540. That amount is for the Qashqai with 140 hp and 240 Nm strong 1.3 DIG-T, executed as Visia. This makes it on paper a little more than € 500 euros more expensive than the previous model, although in the basic version of the previous generation Qashqai you had to do without mild hybrid technology and less advanced safety systems. The mild-hybrid 1.3 is a further development of the 1.3, which is also well-known from Renault and Mercedes-Benz, on fifty points. The 1.3 DIG-T is always linked to a mild-hybrid system and that means that energy recovered during rolling out or braking is stored in a small lithium-ion battery. This energy is used during acceleration and delivers 6 Nm extra between 20 km / h and 110 km / h up to a maximum of 20 seconds. This 140 hp 1.3 is always linked to a manual six-speed gearbox and is also always front-wheel drive.

The second petrol engine that Nissan is bringing to the new Qashqai is also a mild-hybrid 158 hp and 260 Nm (270 Nm with automatic transmission) strong variant of the same 1.3 DIG-T. With a manual six-speed gearbox, the Nissan Qashqai with this engine costs at least € 37,940. This directly concerns the Acenta. This more powerful 1.3 DIG-T is also available with Nissan’s Xtronic automatic transmission. In that case you will lose at least € 39,940 for the Qashqai. This also concerns the Acenta.

Versions and equipment

Nissan offers the new Qashqai in a variety of versions. The range starts with the Visia version, a flavor that has the Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna Plus above it. In addition, Nissan also has four Business versions on the price list, specially for the business driver-oriented versions that listen to the names Business Access, Business Design, Business Premium and Business Executive.

Nissan Qashqai

The standard equipment of the Nissan Qashqai Visia is already quite decent. Although the Visia has 17-inch steel wheels with caps, it is already quite packed as far as safety systems are concerned. Lane Departure Warning & Prevention, comprehensive adaptive cruise control, active blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition and automatic high beam are all standard. The same applies to rear parking sensors and instruments with a 7-inch screen. The Acenta adds things like 17-inch alloy, a reversing camera, two-zone separate climate control, a rain sensor, keyless entry and an infotainment system with 8-inch display. The N-Connecta is above that, a version that includes 18-inch alloy, a 360-degree camera, front parking beeps, a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation and a 9-inch large infotainment system with navigation to the Qashqai. The wheel size grows an inch per version, so the Tekna stands on 19-inch alloy. That version also benefits from things like ProPilot (in combination with the automatic transmission), LED matrix headlights, a hands-free opening electric tailgate and an inductive charger. The Tekna Plus stands on 20-inch slippers, has LED fog lamps, a glass panoramic roof, electrically adjustable and heated front seats with massage function and an extensive Bose audio system with ten speakers.
