Of course, Audi as a member of the Volkswagen Group is also coming to the MEB platform with a series of electric models. The first of these is the Q4 e-tron, which can now be seen in production form for the first time!
At the Geneva Motor Show last year, Audi showed the Q4 e-tron Concept, with which the brand indicated what its relatively compact future electric SUV will roughly look like. The Q4 e-Tron was of course still fully equipped with glimmers that you often encounter on study models. These photos show the electric Audi Q4 e-tron in production trim for the first time.
The Q4 e-tron in these photos is relatively similar to the study model presented last year. What is striking is that Audi gives the production version of the concept car different headlights, which are a lot ‘thicker’ than the relatively flat viewers on the show car. Also, the prototype’s lavish bumper work has been slightly updated. The lighting at the rear is more similar to that of the Q4 e-tron Concept. Just as with the facelifted Q5, you can count on the option to choose from various lighting layouts.
Audi Q4-tron Concept
The Q4 e-tron, like the Volkswagens ID3, ID4 and Skoda Enyaq, is on the modular MEB platform intended for EVs. The Q4 E-tron presented last year had a 306 hp powertrain. The final production version to be presented this year will, like the ID4 and Enyaq, also be available with less powerful powertrains. More Q4 news will follow a little later in the form of the Q4 e-tron Sportback, a more coupé-like variant on which the Q4 e-tron Sportback Concept already looked ahead this year. That is not the end of the Audi electric stocking. For example, the launch of the production version of the E-tron GT is planned for next year!
