According to a new rumor you don’t have to wait very long for the release of Apple’s Homepad. This is when it appears!
Release Apple’s new homepad is coming (and this is when)
There have been rumors for some time that Apple will come up with a new type of smart home device. This will probably be the Homepad, which will be a kind of cross between a homepod and an iPad.

According to earlier rumors, this homepad will receive a screen of 7 inches and will run on a completely new operating system, which will be given the name Homeos. The Homepad also has support for widgets that can adapt to the distance to the user and it gets a smarter version of Siri.
According to usually reliable Apple connoisseur Mark Gurman you don’t have to wait that long for the release of the Homepad. In one of his recent reports, he even said that the Homepad will appear by the end of this year. Unfortunately this was also the only thing he could tell about the release of the Homepad.
Incidentally, Gurman had said earlier that the release of Apple’s Homepad will only be somewhere in 2026. But now the Apple connoisseur thinks differently.
He did say that Apple is still working on another Smart Home device next to the Homepad. This device also has a screen, but also has a kind of ‘robot arm’ that can move. However, you will have to wait a little longer on this device. Gurman thinks that this will take at least two years.

One of the reasons that it all takes so long with the Homepad is Siri. Apple has had a lot of internal problems with the development of AI and with it the renewed Siri. The new functions that were announced earlier before this spring have been officially postponed and are now coming somewhere in the coming year. There are even rumors that Apple is considering rebuilding some Siri functions all the way from zero.
