You can respond to Messages in different ways, this can be with a simple text message or tapbacks. But it is also possible to respond more exuberantly with stickers, gif animations or with an exposition of for example emojis.
The Messages app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac has special effects that you can apply to your messages. For example, you can send the text bubble with a clap, loudly, softly, or with invisible ink. For even more effects, you can make it take over the entire screen.
Explosion of emoji in Messages
- Open the Messages app on your iPhone or iPad
- Navigate to a conversation or start a new one
- Enter your desired emojis, text or sticker in the text field
- Hold down the ‘Send arrow’
- Open the ‘Screen’ tab and select ‘Send with echo’
Automatically an explosion of your message is sent, this gives a special effect especially if you use emojis. Let your creativity run wild. By adding spaces and enters between the emojis the effect becomes even better! Besides emojis you can also use text or stickers.
Want to use this effect on a Mac? You can do so from macOS Monterey. Enter the emojis, text or sticker in the text field and click on the ‘App store logo’ next to the text field. Then select ‘Message effects’ and choose ‘Echo’.
