One of the advantages why you may still use Facebook is the function to keep track of birthdays. Of course you can also write down the important days in the agenda, but with Astroversary you approach it more thoroughly. This app for iPhone and iPad keeps track of birthdays and adds extra functions.
You can import the contacts into the app. You indicate which people you want to take with you. You can then keep track of which gift ideas you have for each contact. You can capture multiple ideas. Via the settings window you indicate how you want to be informed about birthdays.
The function is useful for getting an overview of birthday people at a fixed time of the day, for example every day at nine o’clock in the morning. If you don’t need this at all, you can turn off the notifications and open the app yourself to check for upcoming birthdays.
You can also customize the design of the app, including by choosing your own colors. The easiest way is to set up a widget so that you can see all birthdays without having to open the app.
