PU believes that there is something that Apple could save from the disappointing sale of iPhones. According to him, Apple’s first foldable device will play an important role in this. PU says, just like other analysts such as Ming-Chi Kuo, that the market will recover in 2026. This time regardless of the possibilities of Apple Intelligence and mainly thanks to two folding devices that Apple will release.

According to PU, it is intended that at least one of the new foldable Apple products will be in mass production in the second half of 2026. Apple is currently already working with suppliers on the design and development of the new products. PU says that the foldable products are on schedule and that prototypes may already appear next month.

Earlier this month, Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the first foldable iPhone that will appear in 2026 may cost more than 2000 dollars. The device will be sold as an even more expensive version of the iPhone, with a main screen of 7.8 inches and an external screen of 5.5 inches. The device looks like an iPad mini. Whether this foldable iPhone will actually change the disappointing sale of iPhones is still waiting.
