Samsung Galaxy A53: new renders show it from all sides

New renders of the upcoming Galaxy A53 have appeared. They give us a better idea of what to expect from the Galaxy A phone next year. The most noticeable difference is of course the lack of the audio jack in the Galaxy A53.

Samsung Galaxy A53 Renders

On Androidworld we often talk about the arrival of the Galaxy S22 series in February or S21 FE that would finally come in January. Still, tomorrow we won’t forget that the Galaxy A50 phone has been the main selling point for Samsung in recent years. The first renders of those devices were leaked last month and are now publishing LetsGoDigital a new package that still clearly shows the upcoming Galaxy A53.

We already knew that Samsung is largely working again with the design of the Galaxy A52, but the elephant in the room is the lack of the 3.5 mm audio jack. Samsung hopes that users will make the switch to wireless earphones and headphones and the audio port will therefore disappear on several Galaxy A devices in 2022. We already saw it in renders of the Galaxy A73 and images of the Galaxy A33. The disappearance of the connection has its pros and cons, and therefore also pros and cons. We list it here for you.

Enhanced Specifications

Now that the audio jack is gone, Samsung is moving the SIM card slot from the top to the bottom. The rear has a flatter design with no curved edges. We also expect improvements in terms of specifications. The phone would have a 120 Hz screen: an aspect that Samsung only brought in the 5G version of its Galaxy A52 this year. It should make animations look smoother on the screen.

The phone also gets a larger 4860 mAh battery, compared to 4500 mAh in its predecessors. The A53 will also appear with 5G as standard this time, but we do not yet know which chipset will be placed in the phone. There is the same uncertainty about the camera setup, because it remains to be seen which sensors the manufacturer will work with. The phone comes in white, black, light blue and orange shades. The price and launch date have not yet been announced.
