Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: focus on lifestyle and photography

With the Galaxy Z Flip 4, we see this in particular in the striking colors and the FlexCam. The FlexCam is optimized for the most popular social media platforms, such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. You can take selfies and share them on Instagram directly with Quick Shot from the Cover Screen with this feature. You can also shoot video in Quick Shot mode and easily switch to Flex mode. The Galaxy Z Flip 4, of course, has much more to offer. The folding phone contains the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the most powerful Qualcomm chipset at the moment. Samsung has also upgraded the battery from 3,300 mAh to 3,700 mAh including 25 watts fast charging and there is now also a variant with 512 GB storage memory. The Z Flip 4 battery is now 50% charged in about 30 minutes. The Flip 4 is also water resistant thanks to an IPx8 certificate.

The size of the screen on the inside and the cover screen have remained the same. That cover screen should ensure that you can work completely hands-free. Samsung states that you can call, text, unlock your car and even control the SmartThings Scene widget from this small screen on the front. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4: focus on multitasking and power

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has been improved in particular in terms of hardware. This applies to the size of the foldable and also to the selfie camera under the screen. In terms of cameras, the Z Fold 4 has the same setup as the Galaxy S22. So there is a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP wide-angle lens and a 10 MP telephoto camera. With the latter lens you can zoom up to 3x optically and zoom up to 30x digitally.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with Android 12L. This is a special version of Android made by Google for large screens, such as foldable phones. According to Samsung, multitasking on the Z Fold 4 has become easier because of this. There is also a new task bar with a layout similar to that of the PC, and there are new swipes. You can easily move apps from full screen to pop-up windows, or split the screen in half for more ways to multitask.

In terms of power, the Z Fold 4 can count on the performance of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. The battery has remained the same at 4,400 mA and that also applies to the fast charging that is done with a 25 watt charger.
