Save even more with solar panels: Anker SOLIX launches the Solarbank Max AC

All-in-one plug-and-play 7 kWh home battery

Anker SOLIX introduces the Solarbank Max AC – the first all-in-one plug-and-play home battery of 7 kWh which is specially designed for existing solar installations. With this solution, households can store and use their own generated solar energy more efficiently.

This is relevant for Dutch households now netting arrangement is being phased out and electricity prices are rising. Thanks to the plug-and-play principle, installation is simple and the Solarbank Max AC can often be connected yourself without major adjustments.

The battery has a 3,500 W bidirectional inverter and an expandable capacity from 7 kWh to 42 kWh, making it suitable for larger solar installations. The Solarbank Max AC is compatible with most solar energy systems, making it a flexible choice for existing installations.

Maximum performance for full energy supply

Retrofitting a battery in a large solar installation was often difficult and expensive. There is now a solution with the Solarbank Max AC from Anker SOLIX. The bidirectional inverter with a power of 3,500 W ensures that every ray of sunshine is used and stored properly. With a capacity of 7 kWh to 42 kWh and up to five separate expansion batteries, no energy is lost.

This results in cost savings, as equipment such as washing machines, food processors, heat pumps or EV chargers can use power generated during the day at night. Under optimal conditions, the investment can be recouped in just over three and a half years.

Ready for any scenario

Generating your own electricity is not only economical, but it also makes you less dependent on the electricity grid. The Solarbank Max AC can work as an emergency power supply. In the event of a power outage, the system switches to off-grid mode within 10 milliseconds and supplies up to 3.68 kW of power to the household. This is enough to keep larger devices running.

The rapid switchover ensures that Wi-Fi routers and NAS systems continue to work. For a short time, the battery can provide up to 200% power to switch on devices with a high starting current, such as pumps or refrigerators.

The Solarbank Max AC is designed for up to 10,000 charging cycles, making it long lasting. The system uses solar energy every day and cheap night-time electricity, so users can save without the battery wearing out faster. This ensures a lifespan of approximately 15 years, making the system one of the most sustainable solutions in the industry.

Easy to use and modularly expandable

The Solarbank Max AC has a modular design. The basic unit of 7 kWh can easily be expanded with up to five expansion batteries of 7 kWh each, which can be connected at a later time.

The battery is easy to use. Savings can be tracked and the system operated in real time via the app. Anker Intelligence, the energy optimization AI from Anker SOLIX, ensures that the battery is automatically charged and discharged at the most advantageous moments when using a dynamic energy contract. If desired, the Solarbank can also be operated via the Anker voice assistant, Anka.

Reliable weather protection

The Solarbank is water and dust resistant to IP66 standard and has a C5 certification for corrosion resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use and even near the coast. The system works well at temperatures down to -20°C.

Inside, seven protective layers provide protection against short circuit and fire. It is important to follow the safety regulations so that the home battery can function safely and optimally.
