iPhone 17 Pro on the street
Apple prepares the release of the iPhone 17! The company tests new iPhones every year in different situations, but that seems to have gone wrong with the iPhone 17 Pro. On new photos an Apple employee with iPhone 17 Pro has been seen on the street. It is uncertain whether it is actually an employee of the company, but it looks like that. The prototype of the new iPhone confirms earlier rumors in any case.
The images show that the alleged Apple employee with a (taped) iPhone 16 Pro makes images of the iPhone 17 Pro on the street. The completely new iPhone is hidden in a large telephone case to hide the adjustments of the device. Moreover, it seems that a security guard is trying to shield the device. Nevertheless, the photos reveal a number of new functions of the iPhone 17 Pro. Curious about the images? This is the following iPhone:
New camera island
The photos of the iPhone 17 Pro show that the Lidar sensor and the flash have been moved. Both parts can be found at the rear of the iPhone, but in a different place than with the iPhone 16 Pro. Both the Lidar sensor and the flash are placed on the right side at the iPhone 17 Pro. This is due to the new camera island, which becomes much wider with the iPhone 17 Pro. There is therefore more room to move the Lidar sensor and the flash to the right.
In the telephone case of the iPhone 17 Pro, cuts were made for the Lidar sensor and the flash, to test these parts. So it is almost certain that the iPhone 17 Pro gets a wider camera island than we saw at the iPhone 16 Pro (Max) and earlier. What material the phone is made of is not clear on the photos, that has hidden Apple with the telephone case. We can expect major changes in the design of the iPhone 17 Pro (and the iPhone 17 Pro Max) anyway.
Release of the iPhone 17 Pro
Long rumors went that Apple would adjust the position of the lenses with the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but that does not seem the case. The three camera lenses remain in the same place with the new iPhones, but the camera island is a lot wider. It is striking that the iPhone 17 Pro is probably recorded on the street, but it is not the first time that something like that happens. Earlier, an Apple employee left the iPhone 4 in a bar, even before the device was announced. It is therefore quite possible that it is actually the iPhone 17 Pro on the photos.
