Nowadays you no longer need a special app to open PDF files. Almost every web browser supports this. If you want to make adjustments, you can do this with Acrobat Reader. First of all, there are many extensions for your browser that allow you to edit PDF files. However, many of those web tools are not always reliable and sometimes do not work properly. And then we haven’t even mentioned the concerns regarding you privacyâ€
Finding an Office alternative, for example LibreOffice or OpenOffice, is another option. These office suites also allow you to edit PDF files, but that’s not what they’re primarily designed for. As a result, you may still miss some features. Or you find these suites too complex for the simple operations you want to do.
If you’re not looking for a web tool or an Office alternative, there are many other programs specifically made for editing PDFs. Best of all, you can use them for free.
Bullzip PDF Studio
If you want to do some simple operations, for example rotate, insert or delete pages from a PDF document, then bullzip a good choice. You can find almost all available options in the taskbar of the app, so you can get started right away. Do you want to work on (existing) PDF files both in the cloud and offline, then Sejda a good program. The free version of the tool allows you to do simple text editing. Tap a sentence in the document and you can immediately add text in the same font. Sejda therefore effortlessly recognizes the chosen font of your PDF.
Adding or removing images is also done in no time. You can also protect your documents with passwords or a watermark. The free version of the program allows you to make three major edits on a daily basis on documents of up to 200 pages or 50 MB.
