Apple will soon release a new iPhone SE and it may have a Dynamic Island after all. You need to know this.
iPhone SE 4 may get a Dynamic Island
The new rumor comes from the well-known X user Evan Blass. He recently shared code references about several upcoming Apple devices. This concerns the iPad Air M3 (11-inch), iPad Air M3 (13-inch), iPad 11 and iPhone SE 4. The new iPhone SE is referred to here as iPhone SE (4th generation). That makes the possible alternative name ‘iPhone 16E’ questionable again.
Blass also shared an image of the new iPhone SE. That image shows (not very clearly) that the device has a Dynamic Island instead of a notch. So far, Dynamic Island is available on the iPhone 14 Pro models, all four iPhone 15 models, and all four iPhone 16 models.

There have been conflicting rumors about whether the next iPhone SE will have a Dynamic Island or a notch. Whether this image is correct remains to be seen. Evan Blass has not revealed any further details about the next iPhone SE.
This is what we know about the iPhone SE 4
The new iPhone SE will likely look similar to the iPhone 14. We expect a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Face ID, a USB C port, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, a newer A-series chip, 8 GB RAM to support Apple Intelligence and the first 5G modem designed by Apple. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone SE 4 will be released in March or April, just like all three previous iPhone SE models.
The current iPhone SE resembles the iPhone 8, with outdated features such as a Touch ID button, Lightning port and thick bezels around the display. The price starts at € 469, but we expect at least a slight price increase for the next model.

Blass’ rumor also mentions a new iPad Air and entry-level iPad 11 models. They don’t seem to have any obvious design changes. These devices are also likely to be announced in March or April this year.
