iPhone 17 is coming
An Apple event is coming! Apple presents a series of new products on Tuesday 9 September. It is expected that the iPhone 17 series will appear, which consists of four new iPhones. 1. Many new functions
Large changes with the iPhone 17 series are expected both below and above the hood. The regular iPhone 17 receives a number of long -awaited improvements, including a larger screen with promotion. 2. Longer support for updates
Apple provides the iPhones with a new processor almost every year and that is no different with the iPhone 17. According to rumors, the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air run on the A19 chip, with the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, it will be the A19 Pro chip. These new processors are faster and more energy efficient, but that is not the most important advantage. With these processors, the iPhone 17 models have support for software updates for a year longer.
Not all iPhones have support for the latest software versions from Apple. That is also the case with iOS 26, not all iPhones can update to the biggest update of 2025. Are you planning to get a new iPhone? In that case it is advisable to wait a while for the iPhone 17, because that phone gets updates a year longer than the iPhone 16. This way you can be sure that your iPhone will be provided with the latest functions in the coming years.
3. Lower prices
Are you looking for a new iPhone, but are you planning to save money? Even then it is wise to wait for the release of the iPhone 17. Apple lowers the prices of earlier models as soon as a new iPhone is marketed. That means that the iPhone 16 becomes much cheaper at Apple itself. With other providers, that price difference is probably even greater, so you get your next iPhone at a much lower price.
Please note if you opt for an earlier iPhone, because the stock is no longer supplemented by Apple. The company stops the production of older models, which means you are dependent on the stock at other providers. Therefore, make sure that you do not wait too long after the release of the iPhone 17, especially if you are looking for a specific version of the iPhone. Release of the iPhone 17
You don’t have to wait long for the iPhone 17, because Apple announces the phone on Tuesday 9 September at 7 p.m. (Dutch time). Are you planning to order the new iPhone directly?
