Apple’s annual fall event is just around the corner, scheduled for September 12 at 7 p.m. Dutch time. The usual expectations are there: a new iPhone and Apple Watch. But there is something special this year.
There are strong indications that some new products could be in stores immediately after the keynote! But what can you look forward to? And who actually says that? iPhoned talk to you for a moment.
Apple products available immediately after iPhone event
In the past, we were often only able to get our hands on the latest Apple products a week after the big announcements. This year, however, everything could be different. According to Mark Gurman the Apple Stores will be updated on the evening of the event.
As a precedent, we should remember that last year the Apple Watch Series 8 was available immediately after the keynote. So can we sprint to the Apple Store on September 13 for, for example, a charging case with USB-C for the AirPods Pro or a brand new Apple Watch Series 9? Or possibly even place an online order on the 12th, immediately after the keynote? In any case, these are the products that we expect to be immediately available.

What else is there during the iPhone event?
In addition to the almost guaranteed unveilings of the iPhone 15 and the Apple Watch Series 9, rumors are also swirling about new Apple Watch bands and possible updates for other Apple products. Maybe Apple will surprise us this year with a whole new line of accessories (all with USB-C) or will there even be an unexpected iPad update? The iPad mini 7 seems to be already planned.
Pre-recorded but packed with surprises
The event will not take place live, but will be pre-recorded, with press present at Apple Park. This means that many surprises can still be revealed during the broadcast.
