After the announcements of the M4 Macs, Apple is not sitting still. According to rumors, there are quite a few new Apple products on the way and they will all be coming this way in early 2025. We list the expectations.

iPhone SE 4 (2025)

Perhaps the most important announcement Apple will make in the spring of 2025 is a new iPhone. The iPhone SE 4 (2025) is rumored to be the biggest update this budget device has ever received.

Apple will provide the next SE with a new design. This means that the home button will finally disappear (and Face ID will make its debut). The design of the iPhone SE 4 will then look a bit like that of the iPhone 14. We also expect a 48 MP main camera, like the iPhone 15, and a USB-C connection.

iPad 11

The cheapest iPad is one of the Apple products that will also receive an update in early 2025. The most important upgrade will be support for Apple Intelligence. This means that the iPad will most likely have an A18 chip. The iPad 2022 had already been redesigned, so Apple will probably not change much with the iPad 11.

MacBook Air (M4)

Probably not much will change with the new MacBook Air. Especially now that Apple has upgraded every MacBook Air with M2 or M3 chip to 16 GB of RAM.

However, an M4 chip does mean a significant gain in speed. But secretly we hope that Apple will bring a new feature from the new MacBook Pro 2024 to the MacBook Air 2025.

iPad Air 2025

The next iPad Air is also only a minor update, according to usually reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman. It is not yet entirely certain which chip this new iPad Air will have (the current iPad Air has an M2). But in any case, a new Magic Keyboard is coming that is specially made for this iPad Air.

The rumors also say that Apple will release a new version of the AirTag. This will then receive a new ultra-wideband chipset. Nothing else is known yet about the successor to the popular tracker.
