Volkswagen, Ford and Mercedes-Benz dominate the top 3
The number of cars aged 40 years and older exported in 2022 is practically equal to the number imported. Which brands of classics have come or left the country the most?
No, we’re not going to print the complete list of numbers this time, because it’s going to be way too long. We have asked our data supplier Vinacles for an overview of all passenger cars aged forty and older that have been imported and exported in 2022. This shows one thing: we Dutch are very busy with classic cars. The funny thing is that imports and exports keep each other in balance. A total of 3,658 cars aged 40 and older were exported from the Netherlands last year. On the other hand, 3,594 units were imported. So there is a minimal export surplus of 64 cars.
