With Apple Intelligence, the iPhone has been given many smart functions. But which AI function is most used on the iPhone?

Apple presented its quarterly results and, as always, Tim Cook gave a presentation. Between all the numbers, an interesting fact about Apple Intelligence also came up. These were not numbers, but what Apple users really do with these functions.

According to Cook, the majority of people with an iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled are also actively using the features. That sounds impressive, but it is a bit more nuanced.

Apple did not say exactly how many suitable iPhones there are and what ‘active use’ exactly means. Is that having something rewritten once a week? Or edit a photo every day? Tim Cook left that open.

Yet a function of Apple Intelligence came along that, according to Apple, is the most popular among iPhone owners. This was Visual Intelligence (or Visual Intelligence in English).

With this function, your iPhone ‘understands’ what is on your screen. This allows you to search faster and get answers to your questions more easily. You can even point your camera at a plant and your iPhone can tell you exactly which species it is.

Cook also mentioned other features that users regularly use, such as Writing Tools and Clean Up. The first function helps you make texts neater, shorter or friendlier, while with Ruim op you can remove disturbing elements from photos.

In addition, the Live Translation function was also mentioned. According to Cook, Apple hears a lot of good news about this feature. The Live Translate feature lets you have a conversation with someone whose language you don’t speak. With this function, conversations are automatically converted and spoken on your AirPods.
