In recent years, Apple has regularly introduced new functions for the camera on the iPhone, but also the AirPods and Apple Watch often get new functions. This is also the case with the release of iOS 18.4 when Apple Visual Intelligence was released.

This function works on all iPhone 16 models, including the iPhone 16th. The function was also made available a little later on the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. You start the function by pressing the iPhone 16 or the action button on the iPhone 15 Pro (MAX) on the Iphone 16.

Unfortunately, the position is not available in Dutch at the moment, but if you set the region and the language of your iPhone to English you can also use it here. However, it is not yet known when the function will also be available in Dutch.

With the function you can focus the camera on a subject and your iPhone then gives more information. With this you can translate text and / or ask what kind of dog stands for you.

Apple Watch and AirPods with camera

It is a nice function and also handy. But Apple is planning much more, says usually reliable Apple connoisseur Mark Gurman. According to him, many more Apple devices get the function.

Apple also wants to introduce the function with AirPods, for example. After all, there have been rumors for some time that future AirPods will get a camera. However, it is not possible, because, according to Gurman, the Apple Watch will also get a camera in the future.

So it seems that Apple is going to focus considerably on the Visual Intelligence function. It just keeps waiting for the position to become available in Dutch.
