The fastest and easiest way to release WhatsApp space is to remove large files. You do that as follows:

- Behind ‘larger than 5 MB’ you tap the number of GB that is indicated;

2. Do not automatically save photos and videos in photos
Chances are that you will also find all the photos and videos that you receive via WhatsApp in the photos app. If so, then they are actually stored in two places: in WhatsApp and in photos. - Open WhatsApp;
- Tap ‘Settings’ at the bottom right;
- Tap ‘chats’;
- Turn off the switch behind ‘Save in photos’.

3. Automatically delete messages

- Open WhatsApp;
- Tap ‘Settings’ at the bottom right;
- Choose ‘Storage and Data’ and then tap ‘Management storage’;
- Tap ‘disappearing chat messages’;
- Set a ‘standard timer for messages’ now;
- Choose from ’24 hours ‘,’ 7 days ‘, ’90 days’ or ‘OFF’.
