New function iPhone 17 Pro Max
Apple is about to launch the next iPhone SE, but the highlight of this year is of course the iPhone 17 series. A new rumor has just indicated that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have an exclusive new function and that is a considerably smaller Dynamic Island.
Various rumors have already been published about this. A while ago, analyst Jeff Pu predicted that the iPhone 17 Pro Max would get a considerably smaller Dynamic Island. A smaller Dynamic Island
A smaller Dynamic Island becomes possible by using a new Metalens Technniek, which combines certain parts of the Face ID sensor. This allows Apple to reduce the Dynamic Island of the new Pro Max.
It is not unusual for Apple to give the Pro Max model one or two benefits compared to the smaller Pro. In addition to the longer battery life of the larger iPhone, the Pro Max sometimes also has exclusive camera functions.
Although the change this time still relates to camera -related parts, the benefit is aesthetic rather than functional. A smaller Dynamic Island means a smaller black cut -out in the screen and so Apple is getting a step closer to the dream of a really full screen on the front.
Interestingly enough, Digital Chat Station says that in the future this new Metalens technique will also come to the iPad Pro and a foldable iPad. Although Apple does not use the Dynamic Island or a notch on iPad models, this change could make thinner edges around the screen of the iPad possible.
