Tim Cook: New Apple product on February 19 (but we already know what it is)
Tim Cook has made a striking statement on X (former Twitter). He said that on Wednesday, February 19, we can expect a new Apple product. Under his message you can see an animation of an Apple logo and a circle appears slowly.
What it is exactly, of course, always keeps looking. But after all those rumors of the last weeks, it seems that the new iPhone 16th (or the iPhone SE 2025) is coming.
But it can also be some other Apple products. There have been rumors for weeks that a new (regular) iPad is eager to show. In addition, the circle might mean that a new version of the airtag is coming.
Tim Cook did not give any further details, so it remains to be seen. But it is striking that Apple itself indicates that a new product is coming on Wednesday, 19 February. We are already looking forward to it!
iPhone 16th in short
The iPhone 16th (or the iPhone SE 2025) is the successor to the iPhone SE 2022. But the new smartphone is becoming much more advanced than its older brother. According to rumors, the iPhone 16th gets a 6.1-inch screen and the phone is secured with Face ID.
It is striking that Dynamic Island is missing from this display and instead the telephone has a notch (the black notch). If you see the iPhone 16th like this, it also looks a bit like the iPhone 14.
The back is different from its predecessor, because the phone has a much larger camera than the iPhone SE 2022. That is probably a 48-megapixel camera (with the iPhone SE 2022 that is still a 12-megapixel camera).
That the iPhone is going to come 16th is almost certain, and the device has even surfaced in the first web shops. It is now only a while to wait for Apple to actually announce the next iPhone on February 19.
